So what do all these numbers mean?
We had some softening in the market last month. A decrease in sales of 20% is a little hard to swallow. The good news is that the average sales price is holding steady. Many homes have become available and that has saturated our market. If you are a buyer, you sure do have a lot to choose from!
The market is still catered towards the buyers so if you are selling, be sure to have your home in great condition. Sellers are receiving 98.03% of their list price in Ascension Parish as of April 2011.
