Average Sold Price was $214,111. Comparison to last month: Increased 7% from $200,061. Comparison to this month last year: Decreased 3% from $221,460.
Current Inventory is 5.71 months. Comparison to last month: Held steady at 5.27 months. Comparison to this month last year: Decreased from 10.29 months.
Average Days on Market were 76. Comparison to last month: Decreased from 104 days. Comparison to this month last year: Decreased from 113 days.
So what do all these numbers mean?
Things are looking well in Ascension! Average sales prices are still on the rise! I am very excited to see this activity in our market. I predict that we will see a slight slowdown in August due to school starting but with interest rates as low as they are buyer’s should move quickly to take advantage of the savings.
These stats are for areas 90, 91 & 92 in Ascension Parish. Information used from Greater Baton Rouge MLS. They include only single family dwellings.
