Here are a few things Baton Rouge has to offer this Spring:
If you have been in Baton Rouge for any length of time, you have definitely heard about the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. The Wearing of the Green parade winds through the beautiful Hundred Oaks Subdivision. This parade is something to be seen! This year, the parade rolls on Saturday, March 17th at 10:00am
The Baton Rouge Blues Festival is a fun outdoor event that is free. This year’s festival will be April 14 & 15 and will be held in and around Downtown Baton Rouge’s Repentance Park and Galvez Plaza.
The start of Spring also brings the beginning of Live After Five. This is a free concert series at Downtown Baton Rouge’s Galvez Plaza every Friday evening. This is a fun way to start off the weekend. There are lots of great restaurants Downtown to grab a bite to eat after the concert. Just remember, no ice chests are allowed.
A great weekend spring outing would be to check out some of the Baton Rouge Plantations! The grounds are beautiful during spring time and the weather will be fabulous!
Have you been to the Capitol Park Museum? This is a fabulous museum in downtown Baton Rouge that you don’t want to miss seeing!
The Baton Rouge Haunted Adventure is also still running. This is a ghost/haunted history tour that runs every evening Monday – Saturday
